Dear Subscribers, We are glad to announce that we have launched MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) in our network starting from 17th September 2006. MMS Service allows any Mero Mobile subscriber to exchange pictures, photos and video images within Home Network. Subscribers' whose handset support MMS feature please click the following link.

The essential, highly-demanded service plays the selected ring back tone until the called party answers, the Voice Mail answers or the call expires. We are overwhelmed by our valued subscriber’s response for our very popular "One Hour Free Talk Time” scheme. We are glad to continue this scheme for the benefit of the subscribers. To continue our commitment for better network we keep on revising our schemes & services time to time and in this process we are informing our subscribers that they will not be provided with free talk time facility from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM every day starting from 1st December 2006 to provide better service. Although 1 hour free talk time will be available during rest of the day. We remain grateful for the continuous support from our valued subscribers.


26.10.2006:
Mero mobile has decided to discontinue its mobile Internet service (GPRS) UNLIMITED monthly scheme from 1st Mangsir 2063. GPRS subscribers will be charged as per the Data send and received.


17.10.2006:
We are glad to announce that Mero Mobile Subscribers can now send and receive SMS to and from NTC mobile users directly from Date 18th October, 2006.
Charge per SMS sent to NTC number is Rs. 2.00 + applicable Taxes.


08.10.2006:
After successful launch of service in major cities of Nepal, (Kathmandu Valley, Banepa, Dhulikhel, Pokhara, Bharatpur, Hetauda, Birgunj, Bardagadh, Butwal and Biratnagar) Mero Mobile has started its service in Dharan from 8th October 2006.

On the Occasion of 1st Anniversary, Spice Nepal Pvt. Ltd (Mero Mobile) has launched its new services Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT) and Multi Media Service (MMS) staring from 17th September 2006.

In the process of expanding the services to the different parts of the country Mero Mobile has started its service in Bhairahawa and Bharatpur from 31st August!

25.08.2006:
In the process of expanding Mero Mobile service to different parts of Nepal, Mero Mobile has started its service in Biratnagar from 24th August!

“Mero Mobile Postpaid subscribers can make their bill payments at their nearest Nabil Bank branches. Simply walk in any Nabil Bank branch, fill up a deposit slip bearing the Mero Mobile logo and have your account credited within a couple of hours. This service is available throughout Mero Mobile coverage areas.”

The new service EDGE is available in all our network coverage from 15th of June 2006. EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for Global Evolution), an advanced mobile technology which enables high-speed mobile Internet and data services. EDGE is Eight times faster than GPRS.

The new scheme ACCESS will start from 11th June 2006 and the Starter kit will be sold from our Customer care centers at Krishna Towers, New Baneshower, Kathmandu and M. M. Complex, Ekantakuna, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.
